I know what it's like to be a woman past 40 trying to do it all, and to have your energy quietly stop keeping up with the life you built. For years I just figured that was how it was now, everyone around me seemed the same way, and there was never really anyone to ask. I stopped questioning it.

Digging into my own metabolic health changed that. Learning to actually fuel my body well gave me a level of energy I'd forgotten was possible, and supporting my mother through cancer with integrative care pushed me to understand the biology behind it at a much deeper level.

What frustrates me is how little of this ever comes up in a medical appointment. After years in talent strategy trying to fix organizations without ever addressing the person inside them, I decided to focus on her instead. That's who this work is for.

I know what it's like to be a woman past 40 trying to do it all: build a career, raise four daughters, show up for your friends and your own parents, and still have something left for yourself. For years, I held it all together without noticing the cost. I just figured the fading energy was how it was now, what this stage of life and this pace of life cost you. Everyone around me, friends, colleagues, seemed to feel the same way, so it seemed normal. And when I did try to bring it up, it never quite belonged anywhere: not really something my OB-GYN addressed, not really something my primary care doctor addressed either. After enough of those dead ends, I stopped asking. I just went with it.

Then I started digging into my own metabolic health, and that's where things actually shifted. I began understanding how to fuel my body with steady, sufficient energy throughout the day, and adopted the changes that came with it. That's when the 4pm moment happened: catching myself mid-thought, braced for the usual urge to slow down, and realizing it wasn't there. I still had hours left in me. That was the moment I understood how much of what I'd normalized as "just tired" was never actually inevitable.

I was already immersed in this world when my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Supporting her through integrative care alongside her treatment pushed me to go far deeper, cancer doesn't leave room for surface-level understanding. That's when I really got into what drives cellular health, biology, and biochemistry at a level I hadn't needed to before.

And that's when it hit me: why doesn't anyone tell you this? Why do these conversations never happen in a medical appointment? My background is in talent strategy and organizational development, and I realized I'd spent years trying to fix performance and the professional environment around a person, without ever addressing the person herself. We've spent decades pushing to get more women to the top of organizations, and almost no one has noticed that this exact stretch of a woman's career, the years she's finally positioned to reach it, is also when her body is going through its hardest internal shift. You can't close that gap while ignoring what's happening physically to the women you're trying to get there. I decided to dedicate my work to her instead: not the career that orbits around her, but the person underneath it.

That's who this is for: women who know, firsthand, how hard this stage of life is, trying to be excellent at your career, present for your family, and still have energy left for yourself. I want to help you get that back.

I'm not a doctor and I don't diagnose. I'm a metabolic health practitioner (FDN-P). Nothing here is medical advice.
